Aisha Buhari's brother, Musa Yola, denies being arrested over N300m fraud
Younger brother to Aisha Buhari, Musa Yola, has denied media reports
that he was arrested on the order of President Buhari over a N300
million oil bloc fraud. Sahara Reporters had published a report earlier
today claiming Yola was arrested last week on the order of the President
for defrauding a businessman of N300 million with the promise to help
him secure an oil bloc. Speaking with Premium Times, Mr Yola said he was shocked at the reports.
“As we speak, I am in the President’s office and I was with him last
night. I simply don’t know or understand who is behind these malicious
rumours,” he said.
H added that he had never been involved in any Fraudulent act.
Also speaking on the report, the Senior Special Assistant to the
President on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, said there was no truth
in the report “It is definitely not true, there is no iota of truth in
this report there is no basis for the president to do that,” he said.
